Post subject: GEARS TOURNAMENT CANCELLED!!!
We just arrived at East Coast Gamers to set up for todays Gears tournament and the power is off and it looks like it has been down for a while. It seems like they shut their doors and we were not informed!
We are not affiliated with ECG and don't really see them until game days so this is just as a surprise to us as it is to you!
We apologize for any inconvenience, especially for those of you that are already on the road for todays tournament!!!
We at LAG will have to discuss our next move and let you all know what we will be doing as soon as we figure it out! _________________

I made the original post from my house the morning the Gears tournament was supposed to happen and we were just as surprised as the poor gamers that travelled from as far as they did and we are just as upset as you guys about this.
We found out from mall securuity later that morning that East Coast Gamers was shut down about 2 weeks prior to the Gears tournament. Unfortunately we at LAG were just used to showing up on game day, letting ourselves in and setting up. The ECG employee(s) would usually stroll in at 11 or so. That is why we were so surprised. We took for granted that they would be opened. We did not know that they were not paying their bills and the mall told them that they were not allowed in until they paid them some money. Lucky for us mall security was cool with us and allowed us to collect our stuff from the back so we have everything we need to hold tournaments where ever we find fit.
We will let you guys know when and where we go if we find a place. In the mean time we hope to see you guys online sometime and happy gaming!
We at LAG are pretty bummed with this setback and the lack of forum participation is also a downer. What may motivate us to move quickly to get back on the hores is to see some activity here. This is a great place for not only local but non local gamers to come and discuss all areas of gaming, not only tournament play. You have the ability to help this site grow and be able to say that this is where you come to talk gaming. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the forum, let us know and we will see about making some changes.
